Bianchi Celebrates 50 Years of Business
Known as “the father of the modern holster” and “the master of concealment,” John Bianchi and the company he founded in 1958—Bianchi International—are responsible for the design and production of more than 20 million high-quality holsters, belts and accessories. Over the past 50 years, Bianchi International has been responsible for many industry firsts, including the first thumb-break holster, the first molded nylon holster (AccuMold) and the first duty-retention holster.
But the company isn’t resting on its laurels. Now part of BAE Systems Products Group, Bianchi continues to manufacture innovative holsters and equipment, including the Auto Retention with FingerLok and ThumbLok retention devices. Most recently, Bianchi introduced the new Vector Series of premium injection-molded impact-resistant concealment holsters.
To help celebrate 50 years in business, BAE Systems Products Group has invited John Bianchi to the SHOT Show, where he will autograph a limited number of collectors’ reprints of the famed Bianchi Histographs, a series of prints depicting historic Western scenes with Bianchi leather as part of the attire of the day.
Bianchi personnel will also be handing out 50th anniversary posters to show attendees, as well as other exciting promotional items. Booth #8525. (800-477-8545; bianchi-intl.com)
