Ruger’s LCP

When Ruger president Stephen L. Sanetti said, “Ruger listens to the voice of the customer,” he wasn’t kidding. In response to requests from customers and dealers for a compact personal-defense handgun, Ruger yesterday unveiled the .380 LCP (Lightweight Compact Pistol).

“The growing number of states authorizing the licensed carry of pistols for personal protection, and continued demand by law enforcement for quality backup guns, cannot be ignored,” Sanetti said. He also believes the LCP will appeal to women. The 9.4-ounce LCP has a capacity of 6 plus 1 rounds.  SRP: $330. Booth #457. (ruger.com)
