
Realtree Launches New Media Room
The digital age is requiring manufacturers, wholesalers and dealers to change how they interact with their customers. Customers are demanding more information on the products they purchase, and they don’t want to wait for it. In a few short years, we’ve gone from “I don’t have all day” to “I don’t have all second.” That goes double for those of us in the media who cover this industry.
Realtree has decided to meet the challenge head-on by launching its new Media Room, where interested parties can find downloadable press releases and high-resolution images from hundreds of Realtree partner companies (as well as print-ready bios on Bill and Tyler Jordan, David Blanton, Michael Waddell and others). In essence, RealtreeMedia.com is building a one-stop shop for the outdoor industry.
“We believe in connecting people to the outdoors,” says Bill Jordan, president of Realtree. “And Realtree’s new Media Room gives companies the opportunity to showcase their products while providing outdoor writers a place to obtain information on the latest gear and gadgets.”
Along with the Gear Guide section of RealtreeMedia.com, where downloadable press releases and photos are available, the site will also feature downloadable video clips of Realtree’s latest DVDs. These clips will be available for retailers, who can preview the promotional video for prospective buyers. This feature is especially important for dealers trying to sell to younger Internet-savvy customers.
RealtreeMedia.com also has plans to expand the TV/Video section of the site in the future to include more downloadable videos for use by the media and Realtree partners.
