I.C.E. Inherits Valhalla Legacy
After more than four years of success as a tactical training center, the Valhalla Shooting Club at Elk Mountain Resort, in Colorado, will return to its original business plan of being an exclusive and advanced private shooting club.
As Valhalla pulls back from training, I.C.E. Training Company, founded by Valhalla’s longtime training director Rob Pincus, will continue to provide the programs, courses and services once provided at Valhalla (the name stands for “integrity, consistency and efficiency”). Plans are for Valhalla to refer traditional training inquiries to I.C.E. and for I.C.E. to be available to facilitate team building and other programs at Valhalla and Elk Mountain Resort.
“I am looking forward to being able to focus on training and program development,” said Pincus. “While I enjoyed my involvement with the shooting club and the operations of the resort, and am very proud of my accomplishments there, training those that need and want to be safer is really my focus.”
Pincus developed the Combat Focus! Shooting Program. He has written articles in a variety of magazines, appeared as a guest instructor on television programs and is the developer of the Personal Defense video series.
Valhalla will continue to be available as a recreational shooting and private training venue for its members and guests of Elk Mountain Resort, but it will no longer run regularly scheduled courses or be used as a venue for military and law enforcement groups.
Shooting and defense courses previously scheduled through Valhalla Shooting Club but planned for other venues will take place as planned. Those scheduled for on-site courses at Valhalla will soon receive a refund of any deposit and a letter explaining options to visit Elk Mountain Resort or schedule for a course with I.C.E.
