Winchester Honors Partners

The Winchester Ammunition 2008 Dealer of the Year Award, which recognizes dealers for setting a high standard in sales and promotions, was presented to Sportsman’s Den, located in Shelby, Ohio, during the 2008 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Sportsman’s Den met Winchester Ammunition’s standards of excellence by promoting the brand through advertising, aggressive promotions, event planning, merchandising and point-of-purchase displays. The retailer also hosts youth outdoor events, supports local conservation groups and conducts several youth hunts as well as providing hunter-education and concealed-carry classes on site.

“It’s an honor to receive this award,” said Greg Griffith, owner of Sportsman’s Den. “To be recognized by Winchester is truly remarkable.”

Winchester Ammunition’s 2008 Distributor of the Year Award went to Big Rock Sports. The North Carolina distributor promoted the brand through in-store promotions and nationwide marketing strategies. “Our mission is to help our dealers become better retailers,” said Ed Small, Big Rock’s president.
