Protech Tactical FAV

The Fast Attack Vest (FAV) from Protech, part of the BAE Systems Products Group, features several innovative built-in components designed to improve its ease of use and the level of protection it offers. By incorporating multiple protective features, the FAV provides tactical officers and first responders the ability to choose the most effective protection package based on specific threat assessments.

Drug Enforcement Administration–approved, the FAV has adjustable shoulders and the MOLLE closure system, which provides increased adjustability and flexibility and facilitates quick responses in high-risk situations. The vest also has a 360-degree modular pouch-attachment system. The T2 carrier includes six built-in long-arm magazine pouches. Additional options include yoke (shoulder, throat and collar) protection, ballistic chaps for thigh and femoral artery protection, a detachable groin protector, bicep protectors, Level III and IV hard armor plates and pouches for equipment and police and sheriff IDs.
