The MK2 MOD 2-M rifle is offered in both 16- and 18-inch barrel configurations, delivering .308 Win. performance in a refined, piston-driven platform backed by the the company’s sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. Each MK2 MOD 2-M is built around a 41V50 stainless-steel barrel engineered to stabilize a wide range of projectile weights. The 16-inch configuration offers a compact, maneuverable footprint suited for patrol or field use; the 18-inch model delivers added velocity and extended-range capability. With quality match ammunition, both barrel lengths are guaranteed to shoot sub-MOA.

The core of the platform is PWS’s proven long-stroke piston operating system with a three-position adjustable gas regulator. Designed to perform in both suppressed and unsuppressed configurations, the system vents excess gas forward to reduce fouling in the receiver and keep operating temperatures down. The patent pending Bore Evacuator further manages gas at the muzzle through an expansion chamber that redirects excess pressure via the Venturi effect.

Both variants ship with the FRC 3 port compensator for recoil and flash mitigation, compatible with PWS PUB suppressor mounts and other common HUB taper mount adaptors. A semi-monolithic free float M-LOK rail secured by a proprietary
barrel nut enhances rigidity and supports consistent accuracy.

The rifles feature a 7075-T651 forged MOD 2-M proprietary upper with forward assist and a matching forged lower with fully ambidextrous bolt-release and magazine-release controls. Premium components include a Radian Raptor charging
